We went on the cruise for our honeymoon. One morning we got up at 6am (the glacier day) to take pics. The best times are 6am and 7am that day and they book up quick. Also, the pics are not cheap. While the pictures on the boat you stand in line to take on formal nights are $25 a download (not cheap) the packages for pics with the photographer start at 599 for 5 pics (3 prints and 2 digital) but instead we asked for 5 digitals and then he threw in 4 pics from the boat. Or 149 a pic. Expensive but we had a lot of shots that we really liked, so we ended up buying it. The four digital prints that he threw in weren’t edited. They were just pics with different backgrounds you found around the ship-mainly around the deck 7 piazza.
You are under no obligation to buy pics. Ours just turned out so good that we wanted some to commemorate our honeymoon. So if this is something you want to do, especially with the glacier, I would book an appointment as soon as you can.
